Nice clerk. Room had large water spots on ceiling, holes in lamp shade. Towel rack fell off the wall. Lots nicks and spots on walls. Carpet was dirty BUT items in room was clean. Clerk offered a different room but to tired to change. Chose this hotel because of good rating and rarely have issues at BW☹️

The West Virginia Camaro Corvette Club stayed at the Best Western in Wise, VA on June 10th and 11th, since it was close to the Dragon Slayer Hwy 160 in Lynch, Kentucky. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had requested a group rate months in advance and even though some of our members were not able to make it at the last minute, they still honored the group rate without us even having to ask. We will definitely be back in 2023 for our annual trip!

The area smells like mildew. I know it's not the hotels fault, but the fact that nothing was done to mask the smell in the interior of the hotel was just lazy. Almost like they gave up & didn't care. Or maybe it's just that they have been there so long, the smell doesn't bother them.

Very expensive for such an out dated hotel. Highly recommend lowering the price or remodeling. Advertise free breakfast and not only is there no breakfast but not even coffee. The tub squealed ever time using it. The offer no room cleaning while you stay there. Not many condiments for the room. Drive to another town for a better stay!!!!
