The staff is very friendly and helpful. Early opening hours mean you can beat the crowds during the season. Selection is great for a store this size, and I really don't know how far you'd have to drive from Pine Island to find better prices. For anyone who lives on Pine Island in the winter, this store is a fantastic option, especially for last-minute or spur-of-the-moment purchases. If you've ever tried to drive through Matlacha mid-day in the winter to or from the mainland, you know that shopping on the Island saves you a huge amount of time. [Edit: May 2022. They told me they expect to move to a new location right next door to the recently-opened Publix on Pine Island Road, with a target date of Fall 2022. The new store will be about twice the size of the current store. ]
