Cozy place to stay and enjoy nights swimming in the pool which opens at 9 a.m. closes at 10.p.m.. Great place to relax, enjoy movies, after a day on the beach..just feel so at home there because it has that kind of atmosphere..Across and down the street is a Hardware store,Shops, ice cream palor, Crazy 🤪 golf, some call it putt-putt, it's a family motel and a family type of beach to go to. HOLDEN BEACH ⛱ LOVE IT ♥️

We feel like we have truly found a gem amongst the islands. Owners are so helpful and friendly. You will miss out on some of the normal expectations (like having drawers for clothing), but the room is immaculate, bed is comfy, great location, nice owners and you cannot beat the price. I would definitely return.

I've stayed at the Grey Gull since 2007, as often as I can get to the beach. I stayed with my 13 year old son for a week in 2009. Being a single mom, I felt safe. I was treated like family, and the rooms immaculate. The Robinson's are wonderful people, that welcome you like family, and they NEVER CHANGE, always hospitable A WARM & WELCOMING place to STAY!!!

Very clean, minimalist hotel. Perfect for beachgoers. Just a few minute drive from beach public parking, the pier, and restaurants. We came for a night and then extended for another. If you have trouble getting a hold of the reservation line, try calling the hardware/beach goods store attached to the hotel. Same owners.
