Today I came to this location, but bad custumer service. First the security is rude and he doesn't has good manner with customers. Second I wait sitting for a long time, then appear a front desk woman just to say that she doesn't know what can I do with my information. I just wanted to update my information with my SSN and she can't help me!!! By the way, I explained her that I called IRS for almost two week and the line appear busy all the time, finaly this day in the morning I can contact them but just when I gave my SSN they just hun up. Bad custumer service.

Telephone number given has been disconnected according to automated response to my efforts. I tried at least 4 times but never received a person to speak to.

Visited Monday, 6/21/2021 for a 9:15 appointment and wasn’t called back until 9:45. The Latino guy (forgot his name) never even sat down during my appt and stood the entire duration as if he had one foot in and one foot out, ready to move on to the next taxpayer. He made a copy of my taxes and stated “Mu” would be giving me a call later that same day to make a determination on whether I qualified for penalty abatement. Needless to say, it’s four days later and NO ONE has called me yet!! The number to the office does not work and I live 40 minutes away. So, it seems I will have to make yet another long drive to get to the office to see someone because they failed to follow up. Terrible experience!!

Make an appointment so you don't waste your time
Go to IRS's Office to find the right answers. Don't take any advice from the neighborhood.
Okay to be clear I do not work for the IRS I am someone who had an experience at that IRS office so I can only speak about my experience . when I asked for them to print that document they were able to do it for me it was not busy and it was almost 3 in the afternoon when they did that so maybe the time made a difference? I don't know I hope this is helpful.
THE issuing company has to make the correction. They then reuse the corrected version of 1099 to the contractor and the issuing company sends the 1099g to the IRS. THE original goes to the vendor copy goes the iRS
okay so, thaey are a small office and like the post iffice or any other government office they will throw road blocks to you left and right. their customer service leaves nothing to be desired. half a star. so anything I asked they gave me a short and "not willing to help answer" -- i had to give them a sad story which was true but i was hoping i did not have to reveal so much.. i told them i dont have a printer or another way to print. im disabled and dont how to work a computer. so could they print the form for me? and they did ! the office is alwas busy i went closer to 3pm almost closing time. good luck
