That is a lie. Doesn't matter if you are prescribed it or not you will not be allowed to donate, they can't give anyone plasma from a person with said drugs in their system even if they are allowed to take said drug.

Currently your first 5 times is $50.00. Then the regular pay scale is $20.00 the first day you donate and $40.00 the second. If yoy weigh less than 175 pounds the regular pay is a little less. They do change the pay scale from time to time. It's a good idea to call them before hand for any changes.

They open every day theough the week at 6 a.m. except rare occasions.my best advice now that they r doing them stupid appointments is get in there around opening time due to setting up an appointment.anytime later then 6 is pointless due to the people that show up first taking all the earlier slots

You have to go in usually and then they will make you an appointment. If you go when they are just opening you may get one right away

They are not strict about your social but the other two you must have.

I went yesterday and they had to send my blood off to get tested because my protein was to low but once it comes back I should be good to donate again just as long as my protein is not to low but if so then they will have to do another test

Varies from time to time. I've seen it as low as 50 a visit for the first 4 visits, 75 a visit, all the way up to 100 a visit for the first 4. A 100 was the last I had seen.

They year for opiates, cocaine, heroin, etc. Urine test and they give you a sheet what they're looking for and tell you it's ok to come back for the test if you suspect anything might show up. They don't test for marijuana.

YES! Definitely eat a hearty meal, especially on your first visit. The first visit will certainly take hours longer than any other visit and you don't want to have an empty stomach when they finally get around to getting you in the donate chair. It can cause you to become ill if you do this on an empty stomach. Take a snack with you so you can munch if you find yourself waiting longer than a few hours.

From what I have heard if your on the list you won't get to donate but if your not deferred they will test you and if you pass it should be good.

It depends on your situation on why you was deferred. Most plasma place are connected and know if you went to another building to donate..

We are unable to give medication information out over the phone/internet. Medical staff can evaluate medications once registered. Just list all current medications daily and PRN medications on NDQ when you arrive

You can but you better get there early. They have been known to stop taking new donors as early as 11 am on Saturdays for various reasons. So word to the wise. Saturday is one of my regular days to donate. If you are new get there as soon as they open so you will not be turned away.

Weight doesn't affect how much you are paid.. It only affects the volume of plasma you donate
