I decided to give camping a go at this campground to see if it might be my new relaxing spot. This was our first stop in Monticello, as we wanted to get checked in and set our tent up as soon as possible. We booked two nights at this campground, my girlfriend and I. We checked in a little bit down the road from the entrance. There’s a small building with a little parking lot you go inside to get things going. They gave us a hanger tag to put in our car to display that we were camping there and to also scan in and out upon entry and exit. We parked our car at our site and walked over to the Camp Store. It was a little convenience store near the front building where we checked in at. It’s definitely good for any last minute needs. I purchased some Plastic Tent Stakes and a Flashlight. Id say the prices were really reasonable on those items. Unfortunately, it started raining right after we visited this store, so we had to wait quite awhile before returning to our site to pitch the tent. The site was clean. It had electric and a table. The ground was acceptable for driving the stakes. Our tent held up and didn’t budge the duration of our visit. It wasn’t too wild on the grounds. I’d say people were respectful for the most part. The restroom/shower room was my biggest concern. It was horribly dated and did not smell the greatest. The shower fixture was very weak on pressure. The water was pretty hard. It seems as if they don’t have a water softener hooked to the line. This room just wasn’t kept up properly. I think they need to take some profit and give it a full gut-out. The employees were very friendly here. I’d also say they were even helpful. The man driving around the grounds checked on us to make sure our stay was going smooth, so that was really considerate. The woman working the Camp Store had great hospitality for us when we were waiting on the rain to die out. I’d say everyone had a positive attitude here, so that was a good thing to have. Overall, the campground was clean on the main grounds. The biggest negative for me was the restroom/shower situation. That’s a big deal for me to be able to freshen up. I visited the Water Park at Indiana Beach and came back to shower since the water at the park was gross. I tried to freshen up, but it didn’t do much justice. I wish I could have gotten a sparkly clean rinse. Date Of Visit: 6/11/22-6/13/22

Love it!🙂 Staff and campers are friendly, there's also a little restaurant, water park, and shops in the camp ground! You can also rent golf carts to use around the campground. Public bathrooms and showers. It's not crowded with people or tents. You get a perfect amount of space. We had two vehicles, a huge tent and still had a bunch of room for the camp fire, table and plenty of space to hula hoop! Best campground I've ever been too!

Love this campground!! The employees are amazingly friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are cleaned daily and the lot sizes are great. The FREE trolley to and from Indiana Beach ran every half hour and was air conditioned. My 8 yr old Loved the splash pad with water slides at the campground. We are 100% coming back to stay at this campground!

We went during Memorial weekend and the place was very busy. I stood in the check-in line for half an hour. The sun was already down so it was so difficult to find our campsite. I liked how there was free transportation to take you to the resort/amusement park from the campground but my 15 year old son said that the park was not worth $40. The beach, boardwalk and amusement are all in there. Quiet time was not followed. Loud music and people all night. Golf cart running all day and night as well.

You would have to go on the website or call them. Prices depend on when you go, how many people, what size cabin, how long you'll be staying, and any extras such as wifi access.
We own an RV and did not stay in a cabin. I would think there is electricity as the RV park has full hook ups.

There are so many sites I can't imagine them selling out. Nice place to tent camp.
I hope so. I went camping 4 Times last year With kids. Rain and sun had fun.
As of now yes the campgrounds and hotels that are located near there will remain open I am a seasonal site holder at the campgrounds across the street and this is devastating for my family and I this sat the 29th we are hosting a save Indiana beach rally to try and save a legendary part of indiana and Monticello history the rally is 12 PM eastern time we encourage anyone who is a lover of this cause to come out bring your friends and family make poster to support Indiana beach we will be meeting in the north lot
I cancelled before. It's not hard. Just call the main office early, just as the office open.
If the lake ferry boat is running it's very short walk
