The first time I visited was in September 2004 as a place to visit the International Visitor Program (commonly known as IVP), a training program of the State Department. It is a university in the capital and received explanations about international area studies collections. Then, more than ten years later, this library was selected as the conference venue for CEAL, which is organized by American university library officials who are limited to East Asia in area studies at DC, and visited again. It is also a typical library of American research universities. Various human resources provide research and educational resources for students (graduate students) and faculty members to various materials. The location of the university is close to the subway and it is easy to go to. Walking north, it is also a cultural area with many headquarters of national organizations involved in higher education institutions.

Visitors have to get an appointment three days in advance. They could have let me request the book and use it under supervision! How rude.
