This place didn't give my loved one a chance to be admitted. They initially accepted her, then within 30 minutes, the social worker informed me that they changed their mind and rescinded their offer to admit. This decision was UNILATERAL without discussion with the family. Not only that, they based their decision upon her current health status rather than admitting her and monitoring her progress over the next 3 weeks. They ASSUMED that her current condition was permanent rather than temporary (95 year old with a recent hip fracture and hip placement surgery). Apparently, they are more concerned about their numbers as opposed to patient outcome. Bert Cody Piggott Jr., M.D.

I live in the Pleasant Garden community and have made several visits to Clapp's visiting friends. The staff is always happy and the residents are well cared for. There are several activities and special days throughout the week that the residents look forward to. I have been there in the mornings, afternoons and evenings the place is always orderly and very clean.

This is a horrible place if you are new to putting your loved one in a facility. Please make sure you know your coverage and Do Not Expect them to be helpful. Once your coverage expires you will be kicked out and they will not help you find and alternative solution. Please do your homework first. Ask how long they can stay before being kicked out!!! Get to know your Case Worker!!!!!!! Heather was mine and she was not helpful at all!! Ask questions even they are rude and think you are unknowledgeable. Make them tell you how long your loved one can stay and make them give you a long term plan or solution. That is their job. Make them inform you about Insurance Coverage and not to just one family member but to anyone in the family who asks. Please, the staff is great there but it is a revolving door and know your loved ones coverage. First Thing, Meet your Case/Social Worker and Let Them Know Who You Are!!!!!!
