I'm amazed at what I can recycle here. Less than half of my trash goes to a landfill now. Anyone know why you can't ♻ black plastic?
Leonard Yang
Well-organized layout. Plastic 1st in the metal shed on the left Drive to the right towards the back for cans, foil, and glass. They take plastic#1-7, glass, aluminum pie plates and foil, clear, brown, green and blue glass as well as cans. Located af the Inwood, WV exit off of I-85.

I don't remember there being a drop off for furniture. If you disassembled it, they'd probably take the metal components though
Nope
They take grass and other yard waste in hoppers . Also limbs in a pile.
They do with a fee
They say that the company that handles plastics recycling for them no longer has a buyer for the plastic. At one time they had seven trailers full that they couldn't dispose of.
Yup.
I think they do. They have a large roll off container for metal. I have seen large items in it. Even a riding mower one time.
They are currently not accepting plastics.
No trash. Only clean recycling. See http://www.berkeleycountyrecycling.org/solidwaste/?q=site-page/list-recyclables
Can house trash be taken ie that that is in your trash can
Recycling only.
Most everything is free except for the electronics and brush. Very inexpensive even at that.
Thanks so very much
