Our first visit provided a once in a lifetime experience about learning a piece of history of Thomasville and the era of that time. We decided to take our friends visiting from Florida so they could enjoy the tour. Sadly, we could not be more embarrassed by the museum not offering a tour of the actual museum on Sunday. So, we drove over an hour for nothing. A rational mind would think that a tour is offered throughout the weekend when the majority of the people have time to enjoy such a wonderful experience. To make the matters worse, we called a couple of days in advance to make sure that the museum/house would be open for viewing. The gentleman at the reception area tried to fetch a tour guide,at no avail. Eventually, he passed complimentary tickets out for future visits to all the misfortunate ppl at present.

This place is stunning! I have Passed by this plantation multiple times and have never had time to stop. Yesterday we decided to check this plantation out. SO.GLAD,WE.DID. !! The property was GORGEOUS! This place was way bigger than I expected! 3,000 acres, beautiful old builds, the main house was shockingly beautiful! The tour was very educational and informative. LOTS OF HISTORY! I took my teen daughter. She loved it as well! Pebble Hill had so much equestrian history and art. So gorgeous! The staff is extremely friendly! If you haven’t gone! Please take a day and stop by…. You will be glad you did!
