Room 24 is where you get your STD testing. But really did not have a pleasant experience here. It felt like Everyone that worked here did not know what they were doing. This place needs to be checked by a case worker or someone that can replace some of these workers sad to say. Today there were only about 7 people being tested. How I know because there were only 7 done paperwork in the finish Tray. Unbelievable and someone walked in for a test and had got refused SMFH!! Also they did not give me paperwork for the work done on me but told me when the results come in I can get paperwork.

I admitted myself to DAHC in 2020 and was introduced to Mr.Melvin Cauthen. At that time I was homeless and unemployed also depressed. Mr.Cauthen informed me due to my health and current status that if I found a place to live he would enter me into programs to assist with rent, furniture, cable etc. After I started searching long and hard for employment while still homeless and became employed March 2020.The next task was to find a apartment. I found a apartment after 4mos. and moved in July 2020. After accomplishing both goals I returned to Mr.Cauthen with proof (check stubs and lease agreement).Mr.Cauthen then sang an entirely different tune stating that I had more things to do to get assistance and there was a time constraint. This was never told to me in the beginning and after speaking to friends and family what would happen after accomplishments then devastated not receiving any assistance. In a nutshell Mr.Cauthen can't be trusted. I could have accepted this and went on my way however I witnessed Mr.Cauthen laughing which made me feel like a gullible person. He is now directing the Client Services section and has hired someone in his previous position whom worst than him. Since he has been promoted the section has lost some good staff and morale has declined. If here ask questions and get second opinions on everything you're told through 311.

Terrible service. The woman at the front desk is standoffish. They refuse service even though they are the only free clinic in the area. They have no sensitivity to the difficulty of having to walk in there and ask for free testing for sensitive diseases. Very unprofessional. They should be reported

For Covid booster with appointment - seen promptly. Had to remind technician three times to give me Moderna (not Pfizer). Otherwise, all went smoothly.

Dennis Avenue Health Center helps with disease control and vital records. There's STD testing, Birth Certificates for this born in Maryland, Death Cerificates, vaccines for children, etc. They also educate the public on different diseases and prevention.
Usually when you do the test, they will tell you. It's usually in 72 (3 days) to get the results from the skin test.
You would need to contact Baltimore Vital Statistics as they are the only ones to do correction to birth certificates.

Unless you live in Montgomery County, you cannot be seen here.
No. Those services are not provided there.
Only people who lives in Montgomery County.
Go to Suite 27 in the far back, fill out a form and they will process the birth certificate. Each certificate cost $25. You can do cards or cash.
Thats best handled by the current staff,.being that there are so many distinct scenarios. All corredpondence will be protected by HIPAA considered private, personally identifiable| medical information, and all cients are treated fairly, equally, with dignity, and respect.
