The team at Aqua Care is courteous and professional. They take my care to the next level. I have seen them for back injuries and now for after surgery care in my hands. Thank you for your question! Maryland is a direct access state, so you do not need a referral for physical therapy from a physician. However some insurances do require a physician prescription for physical therapy. Medicare does require a physician to sign a plan of care for physical therapy after you are seen by the therapist.
