For starters they are military veterans and reminded me to never forget I'm a veteran too. I won't ma'am! I was in need of a 3rd yarn for a simple color work project and my flight also let me no room to browse. I walked in at 10am on the dot, as a cat walked out, and she helped me find the same yarn and (in my opinion) the perfect color combo. We chatted for a few while she wound my yarn for me. I wish I could have stayed and browsed. If you're looking for anything to do with yarn or fiber I feel they would be your best bet. Thank you so much for the help!! Oh I almost forgot - these are quality yarns and fibers, not the mass produced polyester yarns the you may find at wally world or Hobby Lobby. So even though the prices seem more you are getting a really nice product. IMO worth it

The energy and atmosphere of this store is worth the trip up here. Prices were fair and competitive with online retailers. The staff was knowledgeable, so helpful but let you explore at your own pace. They have cruelty free and ethically sourced fibers (which is huge for me personally) natural dyes and many local artists to support. I can not say enough good things about this place and if your into fiber arts you HAVE to stop by.

This is the most gorgeous, real, and well stocked yarn shop ever—delectable! Pleasant people working there, too.

Great selection of yarn. The staff is so helpful and the kitty is very friendly. I visit here when I am in Albuquerque.

There is expert help on Tuesday and Saturday, and the staff are all knowledgeable. If they can't help there will likely be a customer who can help. We are a community as much as a store. :-)♡♡
They restrict the amount of customers, have a sanitizing station when you first walk in, require face masks, and have a barrier in front of the cashier station.
It's ok. They didn't have all the sizes but they had quality products.
Are you referring to the method of changing color? I haven't done it myself, but Annie's catalog has instruction on it.
Yep!
I have only seen cottons. but I too would call and ask to make sure
The classes are offered by variois people with various times and cost. You can go to the yarn store website or go to the store to see what is being offered when and cost. The clases can be how to knit, how to knit sicks, how to gix your mistakes and so much more.
I'm not sure. I do know the Earth, Wind, and Fiber show is taking place at the Albuquerque Garden Center this weekend.
