Very good food and excellent customer service. I love going here because they make you feel welcomed and like family. The manager is the best. I just love her. My all time favorite is the Mac N Cheese and Banana Pudding Cake. 5 stars hands down.

**Edit** called in an order for our company lunch and the food was spot on…Fish was fried perfectly and all of the sides were amazing. Cornbread was moist and delicious. I placed a fairly large order and everything was correct***. Had to update my review because things were so much better this time. (The following is my old review)….Ordered several sides for takeout today. The collards were wayyy too sweet, the cabbage was bland, the Mac and cheese was nothing like I remembered (a little on the dry side) but the potato salad was okay. It’s been a while since I’ve stopped in but something has definitely changed. I’ll chalk it up to Covid navigations but I was overall disappointed. Young man at the register was very nice and polite ☺️

DELICIOUS soul food!! Seems like it’s best for take out or date in the quaint outdoor dining area. Curious to know if the upstairs is utilized-could be a great juke joint. Try the mac & cheese and chicken wings. Great customer service & the owner stopped by to thank us for our patronage.

Ate here and had a great experience. Friendly staff and food is great. Prices are outstanding and always packed. Limited seating inside but has seating outside. A must try restaurant...
