Rossman Management Company has poor customer service and they are unprofessional and rude. They also had their own staff do repairs when they were our property management company. Their repair charges were coincidentally high. One time we needed our thermostat “fixed” and asked our tenant how long the repairman was there and our tenant said about “10 minutes”. Rossman charged us exorbitantly a rate of 1-2 hours . An example of an ongoing charge from Rossman was changing several sprinkler heads that kept breaking from the person they hired to mow the lawn. They would conveniently keep an account set aside with our money and spend it at their discretion for supposed repairs without our approval. We told them to notate our account numerous times that no repairs would be made over $100 without notifying us and without our approval unless it was an emergency. There were no emergency repairs. They didn’t notify us prior to repairs. We would just get billed and when the tenants paid their rent, Rossman would automatically deduct money from the rent to replenish the account of “Ongoing” repairs. Our house was newly built. Another time when our tenant moved out and they had the carpets cleaned they ran air to dry out the carpets. Our electric bill was over $300 and they said that was an average monthly electric bill there (untrue statement). The house was vacant. We were worried there were squatters. I called the electric company after reviewing the date of the carpet cleaning invoice and the electric bill units of usage went up after the carpets were cleaned consistently for days. Apparently someone forgot to check on our home and the air. In checking with the electric company, the usage of electricity was more when vacant then when my tenant was living there. I mentioned all this to Rossman and they argued that that was a typical electric bill and they took the remaining money out of our repair account. They then overcharged for cleaning and touch up paint when the tenant had cleaned. I am not sure they hire licensed contractors but charge contractor prices. Having repairs done by their own staff is a conflict with this particular management company. Having an account of our money set aside to spend at their discretion without our consent is even worse. We have ever since hired a different management company and have been completely happy with them. We have saved so much money as well because we for some reason no longer have continual repair charges. I can’t remember once being charged for new sprinkler heads.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING PEOPLE!!! They are currently violating FLORIDA STATUE CH82 ARTICLE 2. It is called a self help eviction. That means that they and their client Marco bello are forcibly moving out one of their tenants (a disabled senior citizen) without filing the proper paper work and letting her state her case in front of a judge! This is illegal! Yet they are doing this to an old woman who has no family to defend her! They waited til the lease was up and told her she had to leave the residence (one they just bought and took over where the woman had lived for 15 years before they bought it) because they wanted to raise the rent $900! They came in the house and without giving her a choice they threw away almost all of the property she had in her home to the road . Then the landlord put the house under full construction taking out all the carpet and all the cabinet doors and regular doors off and leaving the house like that with concrete floors refusing to fix them. They tricked her into making a payment for the month just to turn around and tell her she had to get out anyway! BEWARE!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!! Rest assured a lawsuit is on the way right now!!!!
