Great park with equipment for all ages! Just wish they still had grills. They do have pavilions and restrooms and are dog friendly.

They guy who runs the softball tournament it’s racists, he don’t like Latin people around, Spanish music, any kind of foreign language, I don’t know how a person like that it’s managing the softball league

There are a couple motels a few miles away on university Blvd. But I would suggest staying somewhere on Southside, near j Turner butler Blvd or belfort rd. They aren't too far from drew park, and they are in a better area of town.
