Very good instructors!!!

My current schedule has become incompatible with working with my Sifu in New Jersey and I decided I needed to look for something closer to home. I walked into this school with my service dog to ask a few questions. Instead of the instructor being man enough to tell me he does not have the right program for me, he instead decided to use his Tai chi to to a few parlor tricks to mess with my crown chakra, I am presuming to prevoke a fight. Then a student came into the school and touched my service dog without my permission. I politely told him not to touch her; he told me "it's fine," and tried to touch her again. That is not an teacher. That is a coward and a bully. Not worth my time as a student or to fight. All he showed me is that the had nothing to teach me.

"Expert" is a loaded title, lol. I have been practicing Yang Style TaiChi since 2005 and learned from my teacher, Grandmaster Pan QingFu. Our head TaiChi instructor at AMAI, Stacey, has been practicing for over 12 years. I say, "loaded title" because to me, TaiChi is an art where new discoveries are realized almost every time you do it. Mastery and Expert status infers having reached a conclusion in the journey. I know many lifelong martial artists that have incredible skills and are decades my senior and can not think of one that would claim to be an "Expert" or "Master" of TaiChi. TaiChi looks to be the easiest of martial art styles to do because it is done slowly and puts very little stress on the body, which is why many doctors recommend TaiChi to seniors. It is in fact, the most complicated and advanced styles to learn. It is not physically difficult to learn, there are so many nuances and details to it that make it an endless opportunity for personal growth and learning.
Hi Paul, We start with a trial package, which is $29.95, then the monthly memberships vary depending on the age of the student and how many classes per week they would take.
Hello Paul, Yes, we teach Kung-fu. That is our primary curriculum. Shaolin Kung-fu is our traditional base. We also teach contemporary wushu and animal imitation styles of kung-fu.
