We had a wonderful evening Vito's restaurant is spacious yet cozy ambiance. Authentic Italian cuisine. 4th generation Italian breadmakers from Palermo Italy Guilio Vito the chef owner explained to us in fluent Italian. His charming sister Gaetana ( Tina) was most gracious and always checking on us to see we were pleased. E week definitely be back as soon as we are in the area. The family are all restaurant owners. The other locations run by sister Enza near Jackonsonville and Rosalia in St. AUGUSTINE. This family has shown their dedication to fine Italian dining. We are fortunate they are still dedicated after so many years to feed and service this community. Auguri Vito family. Well done. "aBUONAdanza!"

This is my absolute new favorite restaurant. I would recommend reservations, we got there at 5 and it quickly filled up. First, the server and staff were amazing. We had our 7 month old and everyone was super nice and interacted with her. Not expected but just genuinely happy to see her. We ordered some meatballs for her to snack on and they came out quick as requested. My fiancé and I shared the Sicilian pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. Both were amazing. I love saucy spaghetti and this hit the mark for me. Loved the flavor of the red sauce. LOVED the meatballs. We didn't get dessert because baby was starting to get fussy. This is our new Italian take out/ reservation spot. Hands down. Only note I have is the bathroom could use some remodel. I felt it was noticeably older compared to the restaurant which is stunning. It wasn't terrible, but it didn't fit the rest of the place if that makes sense.

I think about the Vito’s salad all the time. Delicious gluten free pizza. There’s a chocolate pot o crème or custard that isn’t on the menu but it’s gluten free and to die for. They price menu toppings the way they should e.g. 50 cents for onions and $6 for freshly blackened chicken breast. The house made Italian sausage is only a dollar, though and it’s divine.

This was my first and last time eating here. My mother has Celiac Disease and asked multiple times about gluten free pasta and told the waiter how important it was for her to get gluten free pasta. When her food came, as she was eating it, she asked the waiter another time to confirm and was told he made a mistake it was not and he would have it remade. She will have months of medical issues from eating this pasta that was not gluten free. We discussed this with the manager who did not seem to care at all and barely gave us an “I’m sorry” even after we explained the severity of it. When the bill came, they even still charged her for the meal. They do not care about anyones health or the aftermath of their mistake! If you have Celiac, DO NOT GO HERE!

With all do respect…… my wife and myself had dinner and drinks at bar. We have always felt the dress code should never be tank tops, shorts, flip flops and NO hats! My opinion, management should enforce dress code. That type of dress attire is for barbecue and ball games NOT a nice restaurant like Vitos!
Call the restaurant and ask. The staff is very helpful.
