It was a quiet and cute campground for my husband and I! Beautiful view and easy and accessible trails. We were very happy to find a campground that was open all year around!

Didn't camp, but came for a visit to see Green river and beautiful Split Mountain cliffs going straight in the water. Gorgeous views! Loved it!

Gorgeous campground in Dinosaur National Monument. Right on the green river, surrrounded by mountains. Cool caves over by the boat launch area, several petroglyph sites on way in to campground, dinosaur fossils thruput the park. Only $6/night in off season (not including park entrance fee of $25 for 7 days). Probably the nicest campground I've ever stayed at!

Split Mountain CG is one of the campgrounds located on the Green River in Dinosaur National Monument. It has group sites only, not individual camping sites. It has docking ramps for rafts or boats that have floated down the Green River from various launching sites north of the Split Mountain CG. Permits are required for rafting on the Green River.
