I rented the smaller room on the side of the service desk and it had 9 or 10 tables but the guy said they could get more from the other room also..you just have to go up there..The number you call is routed downtown not the actual center....Make sure you buy enough time to decorate before the event..I made taht mistake for my daughters baby shower. No idea. No idea WHY this is asked of me....by Google map. I was at Legends Community Center when it was a Red Cross Evacuation shelter for hurricane Irma. It's big. Held many people. Well furnished. Well maintained. Had grills and picnic tables. As for rooms in the area: good luck on finding an AVAILABLE room after a hurricane. Most of them are already reserved and filled with first responders. Thank god. Really really need first responders. Like to say: police, national guard, red cross... They were all in the shelters living in the shelters with us, until they were released to go home- then they could find out if their OWN home was flooded. If their OWN family was really Ok. Please, if you have to evacuate, be patient with first responders. They're often in the same situation as you, they just have to keep working!
