Our Outreach Center, which is open on Wednesday and Thursday during the second and fourth weeks of the month (except for Thanksgiving) offers a food coop. It is not as extensive as typical share programs, but there is usually frozen bread and meat items and sometimes fresh foods accompanying a large bag of dry goods. Our Facebook site has a current calendar for the LFOC Food Pantry, which is also operated at the Church. The November dates are different owing to Thanksgiving and our turkey dinner program. Stopping by to discuss on a Wednesday or Thursday between 11-1 of the 2nd or 4th week is probably best, because there are different options for different needs and circumstances. God bless you!

Hi Norma, The weekend before Thanksgiving, we distribute food boxes at 861 N. Duncan St, to include a turkey and enough food to cover an entire day (ie. breakfast, the big dinner, and usually a smaller meal). We do ask for a donation of $12 to sustain our pantry and help us to buy more food, but we won't turn anyone away if the donation is not possible. We are changing our Christmas program this year, so we will have to get back to you. We are combining efforts with two other Churches on Christmas, and the details haven't been worked out yet.
