This church has a good, hard working blue collar congregation and a level headed pastor. The bathrooms were clean, the sanctuary was remodeled and has a nice visual combination of traditional and modern design, and the music team was great. Everyone I talked to was welcoming and kind. Pastor Chris and Mrs. Lori genuinely love Jesus and it was very obvious that they have dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel and helping everyone who comes through those church doors. Edit: I unfortunately had to stop going here because according to numerous sermons I sat through, as well as the treatment from the pastor and his wife, conservatively dressed people will be mocked if they come here. It's a shame because it is clear they let their own previous trauma with legalism infiltrate their ministry to the point where it creates a hostile environment to anyone who observes traditional, modest attire. Spunky clothes and hair has become it's own modern form of legalism in this church. Shame because I have tattoos and used to have a mohawk, ton of piercings, etc... but when I got saved, I felt convicted to start observing Biblical modest female attire and appearance and discontinue using cosmetics and wearing jewelry, it's all a part of my lengthy testimony and has been a blessing to me, not a curse or oppression and I don't think I'm better than anybody else. Please don't push people away because they aren't wearing what you want them to wear. It goes both ways, in modest churches and in modern ones.
