My experience with St Ambrose is a wonderful experience indeed. I serve as the Minister of Music there, after the very much beloved and gifted Ms. Betty Butler passed on. I’ve served as a director of music for many churches, all of them good And I felt good measure of love from all of them. But I’ve never felt more loved and embraced Than I have felt at St Ambrose (except at Holy Redeemer Catholic in San Antonio.) Father Paul Zaborowski is the pastor of this beautiful church and he really does care about people As well as anyone under his supervision. The best thing about this is that he shows it. I don’t know how long the Lord has me there on assignment, but every Sunday I come in with a new inspiration to do something different With the choirs, which they always deliver. Talk about a group of singing chil’ren!! And we have a banging and trained bass player and drummer (They are quick on the Mark, y’all). We also have a young pianist Who trained under Miss Betty and it’s phenomenal to watch her play. Speaking of Young folk, we just got a new youth minister and I am very excited about the work she is going to be doing there. I could go on and on about the love all these people have sound me in the three plus years I’ve been there. I have seen so much growth there and God has blessed me to be able to see how He, through all The people of Saint Ambrose, can help me to grow. I enjoy playing with them as well as working with them and I pray that God will Continue to bless St Ambrose.
