I truly can't recommend this inn enough to family and friends & we haven't stopped talking about it since we stayed for our wedding anniversary in July, 2022. We were greeted by one of the owners who gave us a wonderful tour of the inn and grounds. The hospitality at the Lincoln Way Inn is truly incredible and every detail is thought of with intentionality and care. The room we stayed in was immaculate with high-quality, organic products. From chocolates on the bedside and fresh flowers in a vase, to the the incredibly soft sheets and even shower steamers... the room was cozy, comfortable, and absolutely beautiful. We were amazed. The food was delicious, farm fresh, and my gluten free needs were more than accommodated for. I tried my very first gluten free waffle... and it was absolutely delightful! The homemade yogurt with freshly picked berries was just one of the *many* extra touches that made the food memorable. The freshness and quality of the food was something we will never forget! We also LOVED the french press coffee. We also appreciated the lovely grounds. The gardening, the outdoor fireplace, and the patio are wonderful places to relax and unwind. We truly loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful, peaceful place to stay! Lincoln Way, thank you SO MUCH for a wonderful time. We can't wait to come back! ~Matthew & Tori Doede

From the moment we pulled onto the property, the entire experience was incredibly thoughtful and effortlessly intentional. Lisa and team are fantastic. The bed and bathrooms are very comfortable. Everything was luxurious while being environmentally conscious, eco friendly, organic, locally sourced, etc. The main house has many knooks and crannies for reading, relaxing, or watching TV. We stayed at the Carriage House which was spacious and very well appointed. There were care packages throughout the rooms. The fridge was stocked with drinks, snacks, and the awesome steak dinner prepared by the team for us to finish cooking. Our first full day started with a delicious and healthy breakfast followed by a massage and sauna session. Lisa had a full pitcher of lemon cucumber mint water waiting in the sauna post massage. Thoughtful touches like this become common place throughout our stay. Mid day soak in the tub before a meditation session in the garden was a great lead into dinner. There are multiple restaurants with varying cuisine within 15-20 min. Night ended with s'mores and Scrabble by the fire. This place is special. The energy is special. Lisa and team are special. My wife and I left feeling recharged and spiritually fulfilled. Can't wait to come back!

Lincoln Way Inn will be hosting our wedding in 2022, and in the meantime we wanted to spend a night at the inn to get a feel of the place for our immediate family who will be staying with us next year. The peaceful environment, attention to detail, incredible food, and kindest hosts and staff you’ll ever meet were just a few reasons we fell completely in love with LWI. I have no doubt our future wedding here will be beyond incredible. I’ve never stayed at a place where I felt more at home or comfortable. During the pandemic, we really value places who take health safety measures seriously, and Lisa and team have done exactly that. I’m very grateful to have finally been able to spend our first night away from home since the pandemic began! A much needed night of relaxation. My only regret is not spending more than one night with them! We will continue booking nights and weekends with Lincoln Way for years to come. I can’t wait to share this beautiful place with my family. Thank you for the warmest welcome!

We just finished a two day stay in the Carriage House and left beyond impressed. Lincoln Way: A Destination Inn is the blueprint that every bed and breakfast should follow. Attention to detail is their specialty. You will look forward to the breakfast every morning with generous amounts of delicious fresh food. Take a walk through the impressive gardens, visit the frog in the fish pond, or sit by the evening fire and make a s’more. This is an oasis of relaxation. Our stay was everything we could have hoped for. We’ll done!

Hello ~ is there a date we can check for you?

My husband and I both grew up in Franklin Grove and reconnected after 50 yrs. We drive over occasionally to see how everything has changed. We would like to experience your B&B. Is it true that your guests can schedule a tour of the grasslands?
