Lord have mercy. I went to a burial at this cemetery not long ago and was really shocked at the condition. It is not maintained at all. Just terrible. Maybe the graves are cheap or something, I don't know but it is a dump. Only bury a relative that you really disliked here.

Wonderful old cemetery with fabulous views of Manhattan. Many impressive monuments and nice historic West gate. Beautiful old trees.

This is the worst, most unkempt cemetery ever, absolutely horrible! Every single walkway in this cemetery is full of dirt giant cracks, grass growing through the cracks, and excess trash! Some headstones completely knocked over, dirt all over headstones to the point where you can't even see the surface of it, the grass is NEVER mowed.... The grass is not even bright green, it's green and brown, the greenery has patches of brown grass! Both of my grandparents are buried there. There have been numerous complaints made and the office management have never bothered to remodel this cemetery. All these people care about is your money, not the horrible service they give you. That's why management has yet to reply to the bad reviews because they have no intentions on improving the condition and appearance of this cemetery. Don't bury your loved ones here if you want them to rest in a neat and clean environment!

This place is out of horror movie. I went there to see a member of my family. The place very up unkept. There are no markings to find your love one. Terrible place to have love resting place.

Based on the original dig one plot holds 2 caskets BUT you need to let them know so the first casket is lowered correctly.
You go into the office and ask...or you call and they will tell you where she is

Its the Harsimus Cemetery, established in 1829, and it served as an ammunition bunker in the war of 1812 as well as saw some action during the Revolutionary War. There are tombstones there from the early 1800s - lots of history. Thats why.
It depends run from 35 to 4,500 that's a double plot for two people I don't think they have any 3 people grave anymore probably ran out
