I got rob on my car. Call police in Paterson and the girl who answered the phone was the most rude person I could ever talked. We call at 4:50pm and is 6pm not police coming. This is the worst ever. We decided to go home because stared to rain.

I work along side with the Paterson PD and the fire dept/EMT's every Wednesday. They really do care about this city and the people who reside here. Thanks for risking your lives everyday!

Just a few constructive comments. Your Civilian Police Director who is controlling the narrative on On Patrol needs to go back to school. "...put him on the breathalyzer," he shouted, ordering the patrol-people around. Those poor guys. What was the date exactly that the breathalyzer was phased out in NJ? And.... the Civilian Police Director is out there with no firearm whatsoever and jumping out of the car, approaching some individuals on scenes without knowing what exactly is going on! So reckless. I hope he has a concealed holster and vest we can't see. I hope we NEVER see a suspect attack, or worse, shoot him on live television because he can't fend off an attack like that! I get trying to be in "absolute control," of anything on the air, but the whole purpose of On Patrol is to see what 'Patrol' people are doing, not have a semi-skilled narration. Be safe. **NB- (This author has had no personal interaction with the Patterson PD.)

I was police officer for 13 years and a police explorer at age 13 in nashvile tn metro police . let me say this first . back in the 90s it was a different way of police work. Today the technology is greater and more and more non lethal weapons are being deployed by police. If you want to become a police officer and have some college that you prepare your CV aka resume and start getting to know who your local officer and supervisors are . things to consider are . DO you have any sort if arrest record from age 18 and in some states 17 or 16. . if so like I did I had to show proof of expungements and dismissed . learn what nolo plea vs retired plea case is if u have other out state charges u Must have what i call. FIs sheet showing the outcome and reason. If u have no exp of enforcement or related security then u#
Go to the Police Department and tell the officer at the desk that you want to file a report against them.
First thing in the morning. And be very cooperative .The earlier the better.
Go handle business for your sister like a man. The cops aren't going to do anything to help you.
Personally, I think the max age limit is 35. But I would check on the Paterson police website to make sure.
go to the police station to file a report
Neither, contact Paterson Police Internal Affairs Division.

The person may potentially get a ticket for noise/nuisance under certain circumstances or you may contact animal control for someone to investigate the circumstances and advise you.

First option is to call 911 or head over to 111 Broadway to complete a report at the front desk. What is the current relationship of the individual to you? Family member, friend, ex boyfriend or girlfriend, etc.. Depending on the relationship status, the matter can fall under domestic violence under the State of NJ. How did this person threatened you? Did he or she attempt to physically cause you harm? Did they attempt to make physical contact with you at any point? Do you still have the messages and/or texts saved? If so keep them as proof when completing the probable cause form when the officer assists you throughout with the paperwork. Make sure the opposite party is aware that you made a clear verbal or communicative attempt to end such contact either through phone or text. You should also note down a log on the frequency of the continued calls and text. Based on the totality of the circumstances involved, the proper actions will be taken by the officer to complete the report.
You have to get with your neighbors and ask to sit with your ward councilman. You can also go in front of the council on Tuesdays at 155 Market St at 7PM for the council meetings public portion. Hope this helps
First, you need to call the cops if he is ever abusive to you again, file a complaint against him with the police so you will have papers proving his actions towards you. second you have to contact the Family division of the courts to inform them of what is going on and tell them you don't feel safe with him having your child alone and if you would like, ask for full custody. It is a process but if you really want this situation changed for the better, you have to go through with it. I hope this helps and wish you the best.
Usually 3 to 4 business days. Reminder that the record division is closed on Wednesday.
Does the truck have a business phone number? if so, call the company and report it. Unless you see someone going in and out of it.
