This was one of the best decisions ever. I made a reservation here after seeing all the great reviews in Hope's they were true. They were. The home made hot breakfest was just what we needed after a long 10 hour drive the night before. The host was the sweetest southern grandma who made you feel at home the second you walked in. The house itself was beautiful and a step back in time. The work put into the house was well spent. The beds were not beds but the softest clouds. The parking was great too. Being in the process of cross country moving and having all my belongings with me was a worrisome thing when it came to where the car would be at night. Rest assured though. The house sits down a long gravel road surrounded by horse farms. This was the perfect retreat in every way. Would give 10 stars and for sure telling all my family about how awesome this was.

We had an amazing stay at the Bed and Breakfast. It was the perfect setting for our fun weekend in Brookneal. The sprawling grounds are beautiful, and well-kept. There are even horses alongside the property! The home is beautifully restored, and we were fascinated with the amount of vintage and antique furniture throughout the home. Additionally, the home has all of the modern comforts one would expect, including USB chargers on the nightstand, and a super comfy king-size bed! The hosts are amazingly helpful, too. She was able to recommend a great place for brunch, and even secured a reservation for us. This is a great place for a romantic getaway and we can't wait to come back!

Everything about this bed and breakfast was exceptional. From the historic home, to the delicious breakfast, and gracious hosts, the time spent in this warm house was exactly what I needed for a relaxing weekend away. The room was clean and the bed was so comfy. I personally enjoyed the deep horse trough tub for a long bath. Close to Danville and Lynchburg, VA. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend at this lovely home. Our goal was to go fishing, but we got a lot more. This historic home has been enthusiastically restored by the owners, our room was clean and comfortable, and the homemade country breakfast was soooo... delicious. The owners were very cordial and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. We plan to make this our regular place to stay when visiting the area and have already recommended it to others.
