I was in there with a Service Dog, and an employee told me dogs were not allowed. I replied that this was a SERVICE dog. The dog was clearly marked Service. She then asked me if I had papers to prove it!! Never again will I set foot in that place.

I tried doing a few photo shoots out here in 2019 and completely missed the bloom and then last year... well we all know about that year. This year I was finally able to enjoy the fields and get 7 shoots in! I've looked at other fields in the state and none of them compare to Green Barn. The fields were absolutely beautiful, staff so nice and friendly, and the way they had every weekend set up this year was perfect for not only a small photographer like me but for families too! I will be making this my go-to spot for years to come!

Wonderful place to spend an afternoon outdoors with the sunflowers. Price is $6.00 for all day access and totally worth it. The field is well groomed and plenty of room to find that special shot. Many unique props spread around for photo opportunities.
the lovely Cleo
the green barn garden center has lovely sunflower fields that are accessible for $6 per person. the fields are located across the highway from the garden center. the fields are planted in succession so there are flowers blooming for weeks. we had a wonderful time and got some great pictures. it is a dirt path so wear proper shoes (especially if it were to rain) there are many props throughout to provide wonderful photo opportunities. it is a but of a long walk if you walk the entire thing but it is worth it. there are sunflowers for sale at the gate (low pollen variety and gorgeous!) there are also some food trucks (2) on site. very nice, my 7 year old loved it.

Yes-There will be updates on our website under the sunflower tab. We expect blooming late August. Guidelines for photos will be detailed before then.
They had some a week ago when I was there, but you may want to call them to be sure they didn't sell out
Sunflower field was closed as of Sep 1st and it is no longer in bloom
To Sunday
They did, wrong time of year for them now though unfortunately
We do have rose cones, but hardy roses may be best with just a layer of mulching or may not need protecting if a zone 3 type. If you have hybrid tea roses, there is a soil trenching or mounding method that is suggested also. We can provide details by phone based on the rose type you have: 763-444-5725
Sorry we do not.
No sorry we do not.
They have a wide variety of fruit trees, apple, pear, plum. And many other trees and shrubs. You will have to call and see what is still available. The ladies that work in the nursery are very knowledgeable and there is an arbourist on site. And they offer a HUGE variety of vegetable and bedding plants. Along with hanging baskets.
In their web site under Current Seasonal it says they reopen this year late Feb. early March.
I think they do. I remember seeing it on their marquee last week.
When I went last fall they did happen to have some. Although I can't vouch for their current selection, I'd give them a call and find out!
