Is it true that compost will only be picked up once a week,Thursdays, instead of twice a week? This is the worst time of year to only have pick up once a week. This weather produces maggots if compost has to sit out.This does not motivate to compost

The whole point of composting us to let it sit. Twice a week! You will be luck u if they pick it up at all!! The motivation comes from the fact that you are reducing the volume of needless waste thrown into landfills every day and healthy fertilizer for your plants.
