DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY HERE!! I regret recommending it to anyone. They have literally robbed me and lied to me over and over. I love how Kris reaches out, though, like he actually has something positive and helpful to say on these negative reviews - not the slightest - while simultaneously dodging my phone calls. FTX is buying up this “business” at a solely for the discounted crypto they have tricked people into handing over - just to keep the market from crumbling further. Blockfi is useless, deceptive, and disgusting because of the way they use people for their own benefit and that has come right back around to bite them. Bye bye

I made a transfer to this company and received an email informing me that there was a problem with the spelling of my name and that the deposit could not be accepted. However, there was no refund of the amount to the original account! All these reviews seems illegitimate, or exaggerated. Any and all problems I've had, they literally addressed within reason, and quickly as possible. Their app was the only thing I've had any issue with, and that was also fixed. All their terms are clearly written, and no issue with purchasing, depositing, withdrawing, or opening an account. Even with past credit issues, that were resolved, they did NOT deny me an account, credit, or any access. The app has been updated within reasonable time. Their staking is average amount in APY, and fully acceptable. A leader in the industry as far as I'm concerned and they certainly lived up to it. Admittedly, their app was ghetto at first, but they quickly fixed all issues I raised when presented politely, and with a reasonable solution to fix the issue, or a good reason to fix said issue(s). I have since had no issues with the app and they are constantly upgrading it. Only thing I wish they could do, is quicker withdrawals, but that's what you get with added security and checks. It is worth the time. The only time you have to wait a while, is to withdraw, recently deposited funds. As expected. Of course they need to wait for funds to clear, before you can withdraw them, which also take time to withdraw. It's not their faults for this. Banking regulations, security, abti-fraud, all play a part. Besides, you shouldn't be investing your hard earned money, all willy nilly. Get a clue. Blockfi, only issue, should fully merge with ftx on their apps. Too many different apps. Makes 2 apps total. One for noobs. One for professionals. Just please include better ability for technical analysis and it's a 10/10. Anyone who disagrees, must be up to something, or have some shady records or something. Get a clue.

cant locate my local bank to set up funding?? Advise anyone??

BlockFi | Nov 9, 2021

Hey Scott, thanks for the question! There are certain banks that our third party ACH provider, Plaid, does not have connections with. If you are unable to find your bank when attempting to link with our platform, Plaid currently does not support the connection, or the bank is not supported by our current integration with Plaid. This means that you will be unable to link this bank account to our platform. We do not accept your personal bank details to initiate an ACH debit from your account ー however there are a few potential workarounds for this issue. You can either add an entirely new bank account; wire funds from your bank account (fees from bank may apply); or purchase and/or send crypto assets from another exchange (Gemini, Coinbase, Kraken, etc) or wallet.

I live in N.Y.S. can I purchase crypto currency through BlockFi

Patrick Vincent | Oct 5, 2021
BlockFi | Oct 5, 2021

Hi Patrick, due to state rules and regulations surrounding cryptocurrency, we are unable to offer our interest account for clients in New York. We are currently only able to offer our cryptocurrency backed loan products, but are always working on trying to bring all of our products to every client worldwide. We are hopeful that some of these regulations will change in the near future - however until then our hands here are a bit tied as we take compliance extremely seriously here at BlockFi. Follow us on social media @BlockFi for updates.

If Bitcoin goes up in value, does my deposit also go up in value besides the interest?

MJ P | Oct 5, 2021
BlockFi | Oct 5, 2021

Hi MJ! If you are holding BTC (including interest paid in BTC), the BTC/USD price will fluctuate up or down based on current market conditions. The USD price you see displayed on the dashboard is an estimate based on the current spot price of each crypto you are holding.
