I have always received exceptional care for my multiple pets at Winona Vet Clinic. In particular, Dr. Maloney , has extensive knowledge of small critters (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc) which is difficult to find in this area. I have an appointment to have my rabbit, Lilac’s ,molars trimmed next week.. I used to worry about rabbit anesthesia but I have total confidence in Dr. Maloney. She is the best .

We absolutely love Winona Veterinary Hospital. We have now taken three dogs there over the years and seen Dr. Denison, Dr. Maloney, and Dr. Moore. Our dogs (and we) are always treated with the utmost care, gentleness, and warmth with everyone from the reception staff to the vet techs to the doctors. Especially as we've brought in our aging dogs with varying severity levels of health problems, and now our new puppy, I've been particularly impressed with their ability to support us and our pets through good and bad. The doctors always take plenty of time to put our pets at ease during any checkup or procedure, and they also are patient and thorough in answering any questions we have. We appreciate everyone on staff's clear love and empathy for animals. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Maloney and the team at Winona Veterinary Hospital saved my dog's life when he was suffering parvovirus. Their team is incredible. They are quick to respond to phone calls with any questions or concerns I may have. They continue to take great care of my dog. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Maloney is fantastic! She has a special interest in rabbit medicine and surgery. We drive an hour to see Dr. Maloney because she is the only vet in the area that trims rabbit teeth. Recently, our 2 lb, 11 yo rabbit, Minna, stopped eating, and Dr. M went above and beyond to get her back to her normal self which is eating like a baby horse.

Questions & Answers

What do you charge for a feline teeth cleaning?

Patti Henthorne | Apr 19, 2021

Hi Patti thank you for your question. That is a hard one to answer... it depends on if there are any diseases teeth that need extracting. A basic cleaning usually runs about $300 with all pre-op bloodwork included, but that does not include any extractions if needed. I would strongly recommend a pre-op exam and consult to get you a more accurate estimate

Do you treat snakes?

Thank you for your question! I’m afraid snakes/reptiles are a species we are not familiar with 🙂

My dog chewy has a hernia, what can I do to make it go alway?

Macie springer | Apr 20, 2019
Winona Veterinary Hospital (Owner) | Apr 21, 2019

Dear Macie- poor Chewy! Hernias are caused by a defect in the body wall, most commonly in the umbilical area. They are rarely painful but the only way to make them go away is with surgery to repair the defect. I would recommend an exam so the hernia can be diagnosed and then we can discuss the repair in more detail. The cost of an exam is $48. Let us know if we can help!
