I was greeted with a lobby that smells like urine. The hotel is sort of depressing. It's a decent hotel, but I wouldn't come back.

The room is really nice and clean. The breakfast was fine but can be improved.

My partner and I have stayed numerous times at Grand Summit. We usually need to check in early, around (1/1:30 pm) for meetings, and check out very early (5 am). We never had to pay for an early check-in until the last time. The front desk attendants enlightened us that the new check-in fee of $50 is the result of the new management and cannot be waived. Clearly, the new management is not making good business decisions as we will not be staying there again because of it. In general, the hotel was ok- clean rooms, generic and tacky decor, and hit-or-miss staff. We mostly stayed there because of its historic past and convenient location.
