We rented one of the cottages that Lake Road Campground offers for the weekend. It was an adorable cottage and was perfect for me and my daughter. The bed was very comfortable. The ac worked great to keep the cottage a comfortable temperature. Overall, the campground is very family friendly. We went shopping in Trempealeau and found cute little shops!

Nice, simple little campground that provides peace and quiet and meets all of your needs without all the bells and whistles that detract from your camping experience. Just off the Mississippi River, right in the heart of some of the best fishing around. Secluded, yet right around the corner from everything you need. Well maintained and the owners are never more than a phone all away. Really nice camping experience. Will stay here again.

Our weekend at Lake Road Campground was incredible. We stayed in the Bunk House Camper and our kids absolutely loved it. At one point my son asked if we could just live there forever! The view along with Mississippi River was beautiful, and the campground is incredibly well maintained. I also cannot say enough about the staff at Lake Road Campground. From the detailed suggestions Tricia sent us of what to pack for the trip, to being met on site by Brad we didn't have a questions on unanswered or a need unmet. If you're looking for a fun and quiet little getaway for your family, look no further than Lake Road Campground! My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back!!!
