This humane society tried helping me. They understood what I was going through. I would recommend this shelter!

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. I drove pretty far from out of town and it was worth the trip. Brought a new cat home too!

So I adopted a cat named Charleston, I got him on August 20, 2021. He sounded really raspy and they said they had him checked and he was totally fine. Last week I noticed it was getting worse. So I took him to the vet and found out he has FLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) which is super contagious among cats, as well as a respiratory infection. So if you adopt any cats. Get bloodwork done before letting them around other cats. Its very frustrating. My poor cat will forever be susceptible to be getting several infections as well as getting cancer.

Awesome shelter. I just had 'The Fix Is In' at my property to trap and fix all the cats which turned out to be about 35. MAPS had taken in 4 mother's and 17 kittens which should be ready to be fostered in a matter of weeks. I am very grateful to the 'Fix Is In' and The Marshfield Area Pet Shelter for helping me with the over abundance of cats on my property. These are sweet and lovable cats and kittens. Please stop at MAPS and foster one or more of these beautiful animals. Please, call or stop by MAPS to look at them. I know you will fall in love. Thank you for taking the time to read my story πΈ

I have a mid sized boy about 34 pounds. Are you looking for adult dog? Mine is 6
Do you take dogs to put up for addoption
Sorry, not at this time. We rarely see mane coons.
Hi Jake, It is in the best interest of you, the shelter and especially your pet to try and rehome your own pet. The shelter is a stressful environment for private pets. The sights, sounds and smells of a new place especially one with other animals can be very stressful and your petβs personality can drastically change. First, start by reaching out to family, friends, neighbors & coworkers to see if they can take in your pet. Second, there is now a wonderful website to assist pet owners with rehoming. Here is the link: https://rehome.adoptapet.com/r/96724
Hi John, sorry, no field mice.
Hi Nicole. We don't have many dogs at the current time. Try Petfinder.com to search for dogs in your area. Good luck and thanks for your interest in adopting!

They are always getting in new surrenders it is best to check with them by calling if you are looking for one.
Hi Heather. If you go to www.adoptapet.com and type in your zip code, this site allows pet owners to post pets that they are trying to rehome. You will also see dogs that are available at local shelters. Good luck with you search! :)
Yes, they all got homes immediately
