Just got COX again. Horrific experience. In San Diego, I switched providers because they had me at 300 instead of 1G service. Here in Arizona, I installed them on Monday morning. Tuesday morning I had no more WIFI. COX Enterprise is a perfect example of a company becoming too large and no longer providing a satisfactory product or service. Worse off they compete for territories so you are left with one of 2 providers. Which one is the lesser of 2 evils.

Have the representative to send a technician out to check the plant outside the home have the technician to check the cabling inside the home and the cable fittings if all is verified in good standing then have them to check the cable plant outside for signal from the plant to the home

Depends on what you want to do with the internet. I've found Cox to be very dependable for my needs (work from home). Start with the lowest package and increase if you need extra speed. All you need to do to change packages is to call or go online. Takes a few minutes. If you don't rent their cable modem, make sure you get an approved DOCSIS 3.1 to get the best performance.
You need to call the store directly
They can help you if you have questions about your bill and want to talk face to face. But they are not the headquarters.
