Have visited City Park Grill in years past and always had great food and excellent service! Today I had Mariah B. as my server. She did an excellent job explaining the menu, very attentive and great recommendations! The sweet chili salmon was awesome. Will definitely return, thanks Mariah!

We really enjoyed the character of this restaurant. It was a great place for a relaxing dinner out. Service was prompt. Menu and drink options fit a sweet spot between having some variety and not being overwhelming. My wife had the caprese grilled cheese sandwich. She loved the tomato and pesto addition to this classic. I had a Chicago-style burger. It had very good flavor, but very few mushrooms or bacon. It didn't seem like a $14 burger. Our cole slaw and fries were very good.

A lot of buildings in Petoskey are old and historic. A beautiful town! City Park Grill is one of those buildings. We ate a late and light lunch here because we had dinner planned elsewhere. Appetizers shared were Buffalo wings, sweet potato fries, stuffed mushrooms and French onion soup. Everything was fine and just what we were looking for. The server was pleasant even though she was busy. Another server walks around handing out homemade biscuits. They were fantastic and I want the recipe!

Excellent service and fine dining experience in an historic building adjacent to a small, beautiful park. The locals told us that, if we wanted less of a wait or a quieter meal, to go in the afternoon before the dinner rush when you can expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes for a table.
