My mother lives there and the place has improved a lot in the past few months. It looks so much cleaner, carpets are being cleaned, nice paint job, and overall the the place looks so much nicer. My mother raves about Damian, the Maintenance Director. She says that he is the kindest person at the Groves. Thank you, Damian, for making sure that my mother is attended to promptly even when the requests are as small as helping her get her cable back on. I know she likes to play with her buttons. The food quality has also improved. My mother raves about the cooking shows she gets and samples of delicious food. Thank you, Merrill Gardens for upping the bar in certain areas of the building. Now can we make strides with the programming cancellations and lack of events. There is no follow through on the calendar. I believe there is no Entertainment Coordinator.

The Groves collect the month payment on time. However; if you need a refund you may wait months. My mom101 now on hospice left the Grove on March 17 and was entitle to receive credit check for 13 days in March. She also paid the full amount for the 30 day notice in April. The check supposedly was mailed on May 29 We are now on June 22 and still no check...Very poor service!!

I just visited my grandmother at the Groves, and I just have to say how wonderful the place is! There are always activities going on that she loves and things to look forward to. I really enjoy eating with her in the restaurant, the food is fantastic and the Chef Keith is SO nice, and is always willing to help or chat about the food. The rooms and hallways are always clean and the staff is super professional and nice! My grandmother is always taken care of well and promptly and genuinely loves the people who care for her. The GM Grace and Ted (Sales) are always smiling and are available for any questions that I have! I am so happy my grandmother found the Groves!

My wife has been in the Garden House (memory care) at The Groves for about 5 months. I moved her there after 3 1/2 in another facility. The Groves is a wonderful facility, well maintained, well staffed and very friendly. Their best feature is their caring staff, from the front desk, maintenance, management, the chef and kitchen staff, the nursing staff and all the care givers who directly take care of our loved ones. The thing that is really different at The Groves is that all the positions mentioned above care about and care for our loved ones. Always have time to talk to the family but also with our loved ones. It is truly a wonderful thing to experience how they do this. I know my wife is getting wonderful care. Thank you all.
