Motel 6 Apache Junction, AZ

Decided to take my family on a little lake adventure/staycation. This motel 6 was the closest one to the lake we visited. It's conveniently right off the freeway and easy to find. The man who did my check in(I believe he was the owner) was polite, he had rules about our dog, but what place doesn't? Pretty easy to follow the one rule regarding don't leave your pet unattended, keep her leashed outside, etc. The room has a microwave, fridge, ironing board, iron, etc. 2 beds. It was a great room, especially for the price! Only paid $80/night. It's also really close to any restaurants, and grocery if need be. Only thing I didn't like was the doors are really loud. Also had a random person knock on my window at 3am, but that's not the hotels fault, it's whoever was previously in the rooms fault. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this experience, and would definitely stay again!

Room was decent size. Bed was uncomfortable. Flooring in bathroom was lifting. Owner of property was rude at check in. Other services/desk help are very nice. Property outside is trashy. Homeless family set up out front. Lots of live in residence.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Entire place smelled like smoke, hallway was musty and filthy! Room was atrocious, towels had hair on them, paint job was horrendous. Beds were nothing more than camping pads on a wood platform, AC did not work, toilet backed up. Not a good experience.

Motel 6 is particular one is horrible do not stay there. There was stuff all over the floors in the hallway in our room down the stairs I mean I had to go back and put shoes on instead of just wearing my socks cuz I could feel it the room was not clean I went to run a bath and there was cubicle hair in the bathtub and she just got done so called cleaning it do not stay at this one it is not healthy not sanitary and there should not be debris on the floor. And when we got there and got the room a guy was sitting down there a couple guys were and then they were still sitting there 67 hours later went back down to get a Coke so they're allowing beggars in their lobby not safe
