I hate to write a negative review because owners are great. Very nice and accommodating. BUT...the sheets and pillowcases may have been laundered, but were stained and looked nasty. The pillows themselves were nasty. The bed bases are tin. Made so much noise. Wish I could say I would stay there again. But I don't think so.

Not at all what was represented. Talked to owner days before arrival and was quoted 25 per night. Upon arrival he charged 40 per night. No assigned site, no map, no assistance. Told to just go up the hill and pick a site. The only site we could get into was level but unsightly. Could not use surge protector on pedestal. Water service was barely adequate. Full time rvs are literally falling apart. WIFI was NOT available beyond the motel area. Previous reviews indicated owner updates and clean bathrooms. Not my experience. Dirty sink and showers. Loose tiles in shower. No where to hang or set towel, clothes or bag. No lights in shower area. A thin coat of red paint is just lipstick on a pig in my opinion. Close to National Battlefield is the only positive I can add.

I found it to be quiet. The residents generally were quiet and polite. Many of them live there full-time. It’s very close to the battlefield. You do hear the highway noise. The bathroom was clean with 2 shower. I was the only one using it because all the other people had their own hooked up. The owners were very pleasant. There’s a laundry room if you want to do a load of laundry. It was $35 a night which is less than most of the other places close by. There is a small motel also on the property. The owner is trying to fix the property up. There is electric water and sewer hook up I think for some of the people who need that.

Owners are very nice. The campground needs lots of tlc. The motel is the owner's priority but eventually wants to make the campground better. Cable was nice, but not at every site so owner runs cables to wherever people park. Wifi was not that great, it worked on the computer but not for streaming, would also not stay on. Electrical posts are old and don't really support 50 amps for long. Our breaker kept disconnecting with low voltage, and that was with only the fridge on. We had to move closer to the main electrical box to get good voltage. Lots of trees make it hard to pull into, and out of spots. The ground is uneven, there are big potholes, and the street is very narrow. If you have a small rv you will be fine, don't really recommend for 40+ ft until some of the trees are removed. The price is good. We stayed one week.
