Its free if you live outside of the delivery area....for instance ...if you live out at woodland hills ranch...well the Post Office doesn't delivery out there so your PO box is free...a smaill PO box that is.

Recently moved here and don't see mailboxes at houses. Is there a mail carrier, do we get mail delivered at our house? Thank you

My understanding is that in rural areas such as this if you live within 1 mile of a post office usps will not do residential delivery. They don't deliver to me and I have to have a post office box.
