HORRIBLE! I called front desk about the room being dirty, front desk asked me what I want them to do about it! See pictures! Horrible! Dirty bed linen on both beds and the floor had dirty shoe prints. I had to check my slides to make sure I didn't track the prints but they def wasn't from me plus it was dry. Clearly, I DID NOT stay at this rundown and rude staffed establishment.

It's OK good. Not bad but not great. The rooms are spacious enough and have adequate amenities. However, the place is getting dated. A few things need attention: the faded hallway carpeting; the wooden floor in the room; the old carpet in the room; the archaic shower temperature regulator; and rooms that have the outdoor air conditioning units as your view...

My family and I which consisted of myself my husband and our children along with my brother were trapped on that elevator for 5-10 minutes but felt like eternity! The weight capacity was 2500 we were No where near that limit! The buttons did not work, the alarm did not work, the phone did not work we were completely helpless! My children were terrified and very afraid. We all began to sweat and were terrified. We tried calling the front desk from my cell but no answer! My brother had to attempt to pry the door open my husband assisted him in doing so and that is how we eventually managed to break free! The elevator was unstable and rocky the entire time of us being locked in their and the elevator was not leveled with the floor!! VERY DANGEROUS!! We were Soo relieved to be set free we immediately packed and left didn’t give any thought to anything! The next morning I called to see if we could possibly be compensated some way after giving much thought to the huge inconvenience & distress my family was out in due to the malfunctioning of a service provided during our stay! The Assistant General Manager Cynthia was outside of the elevator when we freed ourselves and she not once acknowledged the situation or identified herself as a GM Assistant not one time!! She led us to believe she was just a guest being that she had no name tag present or uniform! It wasn’t until I turned in our room key while leaving in a haste that I realized she was the GM Assistant even then she didn’t identify herself and she offered no compensation or anything for the stress my family just endured in their establishment! Rather she smiled oddly & continuously…when I called the next morning to see what could be done she had a rude attitude showed no empathy or sympathy and then lied to corporate about the situation claiming called maintenance to assist with freeing us from the elevator and they did so in under 2 minutes!! There were other guests present who can witness to this! She lied on my family and I to protect her job knowing she lacked tremendously fulfilling her duties/responsibilities as a GM Assistant! It’s because of this I will NEVER give a penny to Homewood Suites at 5680 Corporate Blvd in Baton Rouge La again!!

Nice hotel. A little on the tired side in furniture and carpets. I have a large suitcase and no where to open except in living room on couch and coffee table.Great servers and better than other Homewood Suites breakfast. I did ask for replacement of towels and to have room made up on after two nights. But did not get served as I asked at front desk.
