Please read the other reviews before trying to get a loan from this company. There is a reason why they only have a 1.34 star rating on the BBB website and a 2.7 star rating on their own website. This company is extremely unprofessional and hard to deal with. Just like the other reviews state, they have more and more requirements and documents needed, even up until closing day. This kept happening to us for several weeks on a cash out refinance on a home we own outright until I finally got sick of it and cancelled. The list of requirements should be given upfront or at least within the first few weeks of applying for a loan. From start to finish (which we never did end up closing) was over 8 weeks which is a long time to continuously think of more requirements to ask for. This company also has a hard time entering information on their forms correctly. They entered our birthdates and addresses wrong over a dozen times and insisted we still sign the forms anyway even though it says right on the form that it is a federal crime to knowingly sign a form with false info. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.

Cross Country Mortgage dragged out the loan application process for weeks past the closing date, each time charging another fee to lock in the interest rate. This is a scamming company. Do not use them!

CrossCountry Mortgage has locked me out of my online account for 3 months now. I've called their customer support line over and over to no avail. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which seemed to get the attention of the company because now they send me letters every few days but they still won't grant me access to my account. Whether this is the fault of a bad IT department or if it's a malicious action to prevent me from seeing changes in my account, I don't know. Right now I advise avoiding this company at all costs.

I can be you also may want to check and make sure that you do have actual insurance coverage on your house because they didn’t do that for me and my house caught on fire. And now my mortgage is triple and I can’t get different insurance on it because I’m currently in a litigation while the mortgage company and title company pass blame back and forth. also keep an eye on your escrow they emptied mine and made it -3 grand
Both, But you’re better off going with a different company. The brokers do not care about you and they will not try to help you out in the way you need. And it will be your fault if they don’t do their jobs correctly.
