Matthew's is great, no doubt about it. BY LAW however, I am ENTITLED to my lab work that I pay for, and living out west right now, the office staff has LIED to me twice about mailing my lab results and never do! They are walking a tight line of being unlawful in their practice when a patient requests copies of lab work twice now over the last 6 months, and lies to the patient and refuses him or her the records! Not good for their future!

I felt like I was robbed. I went here because of the wonderful reviews. Doc himself was very kind, however, not very helpful. I left feeling more confused and hopeless. That visit cost me $350, for nothing! He ordered 26 codes for lab work (I have no insurance so I will not be getting any of it) He told me they weren’t headaches. Uhm, what? Every 3 days before my period and before Ovulation I suffer. Zero answers. Zero! After that visit I went to see an acupuncturist, who explained every bit of everything I’ve been going through and after 2 treatments my headaches have significantly reduced. A few treatments more and she feels I’ll be good as new. Please consider alternatives before heading to this practice.

I honestly don't know where to begin. I guess I will start by saying I have had a severe headache since contracting Covid over three months ago. I've been to neurologist, ophthalmologist, orthopedic specialist, general practitioners… The moment I walked into the office I recognized that they knew, they understand. The lights were turned down low and there were signs about being respectful of not wearing strong perfume, smoking right before you come in, etc. It was clear that this team recognizes how debilitating headaches can be. I received more information in the 50 minutes that I spent with Dr. Matthews than I have had in the past several months with countless doctors. This is a physician who truly cares and is passionate about helping people. After my appointment I seriously got my car and cried happy tears because this was the first time that I wasn't dismissed. I wasn't told that "headaches are annoying".I never write reviews. I'm writing this because everyone needs to know how valuable and important this office, this doctor is as a resource.

Dr. Matthews is the best physician I have ever visited. He took the time to understand and explain everything to me. He may run late on appointments, but it is because he takes all the necessary time for his patients. I recommend him highly.
