I used their Jamestown Rustic bricks to build a 350 square foot main patio and 50 square foot satellite patio in my backyard. I have had multiple people tell me that the patio looks fanastic and "like it has been there 100 years... in a good way." I attribute this to the beautiful Jamestown Rustic brick product and great advice and helpfulness from Scott and Sheila since this was my first time building a patio. Scott was super accessible and gave me a lot advice on how to lay the bricks. We talked about materials to use in between the bricks for sustainability and look. And he affirmed my approach for doing the base was correct given rain conditions in my area. He also helped me estimate how many bricks to get given a herringbone pattern, the curved design, and room for error. Sheila and Scott went above and beyond to find a convenient and affordable delivery service that dropped the bricks right in my driveway in DC. Sheila was patient and flexible when I needed to reschedule delivery because I had underestimated how long it would take to prep the base for the bricks. All in all, this was exactly the type of experience you hope to get when you don't go with a big chain! I only have one call out for any future customers. About 20% of the bricks were a little more banged up/mishaped than the rest. We affectionately began calling them 'duds'. They were not unusable but I ended up not using them since I downsized the size of my patio for other reasons so had extra. So, build this into your order size if you want similar flexibility in addition to any other cushion you need. Remember, these are recycled bricks.
