If you like tamales and authentic Mexican food then this place is for you. Great friendly service, excellent food. We had the chicken in mole sauce which was excellent. We also had gourmet tamale pork in guajillo pepper sauce and a barbacoa taco bath were excellent.

Simple menu. Perfect sized portions. Nice views, easy in and out from the light. A bit spendy for counter service. Only 3 stars cause no chips and salsa included.

Food was freshly made and tasted good, but overpriced for what you get (even in Sedona). The small bowl of chips and salsa pictured was $5. Two tacos with mole sauce and sides was ~$17 and still hungry after. GF was similar with enchiladas- tasted good, but not a lot of food. Salsa needed some spice.

Great experience dining at Tamaliza. The food was well prepared, fresh and very flavorful. They have plenty of vegetarian/vegan/gf options which the menu clearly marks. The service was lovely and very personable. I would absolutely return here to dine again! It is a bit pricey so be cautious of that, but the freshness of the food makes up for the premium price.
