We bought a room with a marsh view and they set us up in a completely different one. We were charged 10 dollars extra, not a big deal but it’s the principle. Originally, they said it was because we have a dog but that had already been established before they have us the room. The man was externally rude, snippy and eventually just hung up on us. i tried corporate but it was the same deal.

When we got there it was raining and the staff had parked cars under the awning for guests to use for check in. The kiosk took way longer than an actual person would have and the person on the other end was very hard to understand. I had to keep asking for him to repeat what he was saying. I had booked online and prepaid (wanted to use my military discount but it wasn't available at the time of purchase) but there was still a $100 deposit (refundable in 3-5 business days- not sure how the cash works). He didn't ask about handicap availability and I ended up on the top floor. No directions to room were given. The door at the top of the stairs had the handle broken off so was inaccessible from the outside. I found out later that the ones on the other end stay propped open all night so no security there. The rooms were clean and mine did not smell like smoke. The beds and chairs were soft and there were plenty of towels. The guests yelling in the hallways were annoying but after not seeing any staff anywhere, I wasn't sure if there was anything anyone would have done about it anyway. I didn't see any bedbugs. Checkout was same kiosk. There was a man that walked behind the counter but as soon as I approached he walked out and I used the kiosk. Breakfast was usual dry rolls, cereal, juice and coffee. No fruit.

Have family in for my daughter's graduation, the place reeks of smoke. Lamps have no bulbs in them. The stairs look like they're falling apart. Front desk was minimally helpful when they checked in. The issues probably won't be resolved, but who knows ?

Absolutely disgusting. The check in with the guy on the screen instead of in person was a disaster. It took over an hour for him to complete check in. The entire place smelled of pee and pot. Trash was literally spread around the property. There was some attempt to paint and remodel but it was done so badly it was laughable. The 1980’s sliding door on the room was not secure and seemed to have never been upgraded from its installation 40 yrs ago. The grass was knee high and mold was growing on the awnings…. The outside sitting area was littered with cigarette butts and gas food trash. I wish I could give this a (-5) but a (1) was as low as it goes. Pitiful representation on line…. Don’t fall for it….!
