I LOVE going to this drive-in! They are so friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly. They gave my dog a cookie, (dog biscuit), as we got our tickets. The food is wonderful, and reasonably priced, so you don't have to pack any snacks. They have 2 screens, AND you get to see 2 movies for SO much cheaper than just 1 at the theatre! If you've ever thought about it, (or even if you haven't), give them a try. You'll be so glad that you did!

I love this place! The concessions are the best part. I can feed a family of 4 for $25. The kids love the drive in experience. A great family friendly- budget friendly experience!! My only advice…bring a citronella candle or some no gnats spray. Other than that….my favorite Lowcountry family night out!

This was our first time going to a drive-in movie since we were kids and we had a great time. The admission price is very reasonable as are the concession prices. We ordered some popcorn and a funnel cake and both were very good. Service was fast and friendly and all employees were wearing masks. It's not comfortable wearing masks for long periods of time so thank you all for thinking about others! I did have to use the restroom and I did want to point out that the men's room seemed very clean! The only suggestions I'd offer would be some downlighting along the main paths and a bit more clarification on the website that you are paying for a double feature. The website suggests you pay for each movie individually and I thought I read that you can see both movies for the price of one, but couldn't find this information when I was paying for tickets. Aside from that the only other complaint was that the darker scenes in the movie were very hard to see on the screen. Overall though, we had a lot of fun and it was definitely something different to do on a Sunday night!

A much needed and great classic place. I can remember going here once as a kid and the distance to drive there really isn't that far just double the distance for the indoor theaters AND I can see a brand new movie. Food was great we had burger combos and they even had funnel cakes! Felt very safe and the kids had a blast. Definitely treat yourself and stop by!!

Yes, was there last week. Concession stand is open. Just need to wear a mask. All the treats we had were great and the experience was just what we needed.
For the most part, all tickets are given as they come in. So you don't have to worry about not getting in. However, I strongly encourage you to get there early to secure a more desirable parking space. Bottom line, you have a good amount of people who don't know how to park in a section that fits 2 cars.
Don't know if it was open Christmas but it's open tonight. Frozen 2 & Star Wars on screen 1, Jumanji 2 & Charlies Angel on Screen 2. It is NOT permenantly closed, please disregard Chris Larson's misinformation.
If you go to their website and subscribe, they will email you every week what's playing.
If you don't have a car radio they do have a boombox they run out for ten bucks
Yes and you can go to the website .. hwy21drivein
Definitely worth it!
Their lunch menu is pretty much the same as the regular menu. Although they do have chicken noodle soup, and grilled cheese on fansy bread added for their lunch menu. I hope this helps you out.. 😉 Enjoy
If your ride has a radio then you should be good.
If its not a heavy rain or lighting yes they do
They have an email subscription you can sign up for. They will let you know Monday what they'll be playing that upcoming weekend.
Yes see no reason not
Buy online or at the gaaaate!!!
I've not seen them sell gift cards. But they take cash and debit/bank/credit cards. So if you get a prepaid card and put one of their stickers on it, then diy gift card.
They are asking that you wear your mask when you go into the concession stand to buy food however I still saw people standing in line who were not wearing a mask and they were not asked to leave. Most people did wear a mask and the people working all had on a mask.
We saw Mortal Kombat and Godzilla vs Kong last night.
Yes they are
Check out their website. They always have updates on there.
I know when I went, it was mid week and between both screens there was a significant amount of people but was not overly crowded. Most left after the first movie but there was those coming in to view the second. I can tell you that the owner is very personable and enjoys bringing movies to folks. We made the drive from Summerville which was a little over an hour. The service was great at concessions and you can tell it is a true family ran business. Looking forward to taking my kids again.
I believe that they probably aren't offered the choice of movies to buy and feature until they list them. I am sure if they had the knowledge of what movies they were going to show, they would list them. Maybe they have other reasons. My advice is to realize you only get one life. Slow down. Stop planning so vigorously. If you want to go to this drive in, and absolutely HAVE to plan it, then plan to be surprised on which movie you're going to see and ENJOY IT. The drive in is an experience in itself; it isn't solely about the movie. If you're just going for a movie and just can't stand not knowing a few weeks in advance, then go to an indoor theater that will charge you triple what the drive in does. We live 5 and a half hours away and come every October. We always know a Beaufort trip requires visiting the drive in, regardless of the movie choices.

For lunch. Friday & Saturday nights for movies
I think they do still play the movies in the rain. Still pretty decent and fun
Their schedule usually comes out every Thursday. Here is the page that shows what's playing http://hwy21drivein.com/coming-soon/
April 26
They have a now playing section and a separate coming soon section with the first date of play listed. They don't display the double feature pairing though
Not sure but it's a wide open field out there
Depends on a number of factors, mainly how soon it gets dark outside. That said, usually movies start playing between 6:30 pm and 8 pm.
I'm not sure if they accept them or not but I do know that all Other Theaters accept them I would call them to see....
They are but the schedule is not out yet for Sunday's showing.
Not allowed to change screens as a rule, though not sure how they would enforce it, they don't exactly have guards walking around.
Everyday during summer, weekends only during winter. But they have an app for your phone, a Facebook page, and website also, plus you can call them for details.
No. 2 movies 1 price. You can choose to leave after 1st show, still same price, you can come for only 2nd show, still same price. Best movie price in town. Military and Senior discounts.
We try to arrive about 45 to 60 minutes before. We set up chairs, get food, let the kids play at the park. You really don't get a bad parking spot at the drive in. All the spots i think are really good. It the people around you that can make a parking spot bad.
We pop the hatch and doors and blast the car stereo while sitting in our lounge chairs. A prius is the best drive-in car!
Built in 1978 and closed in 2003 - was sold. Reopened in 2004 under new ownership and with 2 screens.
