I'm not sure why this is only a two star hotel. It was terrific. Super clean. Front office staff were great. It was a very hot day outside, we'd been traveling a long time, and they loaded us up with water and cautioned us to stay hydrated - even mentioning the dog. The room was impeccable, everything worked. A minor glitch with the television (something that happened regularly on their cable system); I called downstairs, a staffer arrived within minutes and fixed it. For a change, there were plenty of luggage carts (four or more). Elevators worked. Breakfast was average but again, clean, and fresh. If every Hampton Inn was this nice, I'd stay only in Hampton Inns.

Positive: The hotel was very clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good and plenty of options were offered each day. The pool was very well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future. Negative: One of the days we stayed there the pool was closed when we tried to go swimming at 3 in the afternoon. I was told the chemicals had not been checked yet that day. We did not try to swim earlier so not sure if it had been closed all day or not.

I am disappointed with the customer service. Over 6 weeks ago, I have booked two rooms because I have 6 people (2 adults, 4 kids) for this coming weekend. I was told weeks ago to call a week prior to ensure that I get adjoining rooms. Now, I am being told that it cannot be done because they are all booked up and they will not ensure the rooms are adjoining or even next to each other. I asked for the manager and was told the manager is on leave and she does not know when she is coming back to work. This it poor customer service. I cannot believe there are no management supervising the staff. This is crazy. Follow up to my previous review. I contacted Hilton regarding the the room and they contacted back to local hotel where I was able to speak with manager. She was very nice and informed that she spoke to the staff and in fact that is available on call 24/7. She promptly helped me by finding rooms that were adjoining so my family can be together during our stay. Thank you for getting this resolved!!

The morning staff was 5-star service. So friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was next-level great. So great to have so many options and the breakfast staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. However, The night we checked in, there were two desk staff in particular who were rude, passive-aggressive, unhelpful, and sat on their phones in the breakfast area while people were waiting to check-in in the lobby. I thought they had a personal vendetta against me until I witnessed their treatment of others. I was irritated all night and didn’t want to deal with them at all and wanted to rush out of the hotel in the morning and not even bother with the breakfast until I was treated so warmly by the morning staff. The nighttime to morning time experience was night and day. I had wanted to leave an angry one-star review, but I cannot stress enough how lovely the morning staff was.

Getting in touch with them directly rather than the 800 # is probably your best bet. The hotel themselves are sometimes more likely to bend rules than the corporate people.
