I would say this is the most worst appraisal District in Texas. The lies horrible to work with. Kathy Rodrigue and your office I will report you to The Texas State Comptrollers Office for your lack of communication lies and not be able to contact people.

Even though I had an appointment, I waited over an hour and a half and watched while newer cases were placed before mine. When I finally got to see someone, they ignored me. They did not ask me one question. They did not ask me anything. They did make comments comparing my case with every bad actor they had ever encountered. Awful.

Get there do not even acknowledge your presence at least to say we will be with you in a moment. All three clerks were open. So, I go up to the third clerk. Then, to tell me I have to wait until I get call on. Like really 🙄. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NEED TO BE TRAIN.

Out of all the years I've dealt with the appraisal district, they have never once been rude or disrespectful to me. Additionally, I think their evaluations have been accurate.

An over 65 also establishes a freeze ceiling, once you reach that ceiling your taxes will not increase unless you add to your home. So market may increase but your freeze will remain the same.. (taxes)..
Fill out the paperwork and have your disability form from the doctor.. you can download the application or one can be mailed to you or come to the office.. same application as the homestead app, just checked disable person..
