Not sure why the name of the store has the word "lumber" in it. It should, probably be called Tague Building Lumber & Supply. The the name is misleading. I, recently, went to the store looking for ANY 8/4 hardwood lumber. I asked and the lot attendant informed me, "We don't have any." My advice, is they sell nearly the same products as the big box stores. Certainly, they cater to the carpenter and not the cabinet maker. And that's just fine. I hate to downgrade a local company, but, I don't think they warrant a special trip.

On May 12th of this year despite lumber prices skyrocketing my wife and I placed an order for over 6000.00 of building materials. Now our project is completed and we had two sheets of plywood left over from the job. I called our store in Media and asked if we could return the two sheets of plywood that were left over. Absolutely nothing wrong with them - they had been stored in our garage. The service person who answered the phone was not very customer friendly on this request. He asked someone else about the return and got back to me and said they would not accept a return after 30 days! I said you have to be kidding. 87.00 a sheet for plywood and now I am stuck with it?! This store will never get another recommendation from me! LOUSEY CUSTOMER SERVICE!
